ReadFeed is a lightweight news reading app with enhanced news search functionality. Think of it as a library of all trending news topics where no readers have to make a log for entry. Readfeed was originally developed as a fun web project and this app reflects the WebView of ReadFeed.in website.Wide News Coverage-85+ National and International channels to read from. More channels will be added soon.Search for anything-You can enter any feed url in the search box to retrieve news articles from the original website.-You can enter any keywords such as Apple India, Automobile, recent hacks etc. to search related news (powered by Google). For advanced search functionality, select country name and language with your search keyword.Search by country-You can also select a country name without any keywords to show top news from the nation.Trending news topics- Read trending news topics for the preferred country selected in search preferences.Local language news-You can also try exploring news articles in the local language. Please note this feature is supported as per ‘Google News’ Country-Language combination support. This is NOT a text translation feature.No Ads-We have no plans of introducing ads within the app.Within the app-Navigate through various news categories to read articles from different channels.-Share news article links with your friends and family to various platforms.-Read original articles within the app with forward and back navigation.-There is no login required, no cookie storage and no transfer of personal data. Theme preference set by the user is stored locally on the device. Since the app doesn’t track any personal data therefore users news preferences, search preference and history etc. cannot be maintained.All the contents in this app is being fetched through RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds. An RSS is a web feed that allows users and applications to access updates to websites in a standardized, computer-readable format. These feeds take the headlines, summaries, and update notices, and then links back to articles on your favorite websites page.
